Michele Bacchereti received the M.Sc. degree in electronic engineering from the University of Pisa, Italy, in 2004. He was project manager at Scienzia Machinale SRL (an R&D company) from 2006 to 2013 where he has grown up designing electronic systems based on embedded microcontrollers, developing both hardware and firmware (battery management, bootloader, CAN bus, IC sensors, strain gauge conditioning, power triac, DC motor drive). He was involved in design and development of an electronic lower limb prosthesis for transfemoral amputees and an electronic hand prosthesis for transulnar amputees. Related to the hand prosthesis, he appeared as inventor in a patent with number WO2014111843(A2)―2014-07-24. Then he worked for BioMerieux, one of most important companies in microbiological and immunoassay diagnostics. In this company he gained experience in ARM CORTEX A8 embedded core with real-time operation system INTEGRITY.
